Reaching the midpoint of RomInDis!
After the first year of implementation, the RomInDis consortium has reached an important milestone in the development of its capacity-building programme for Roma Health Mediators and Health Professionals.

12 training modules have been drafted: 6 for Roma Health Mediators and 6 for Health Professionals. The modules combine face-to-face learning activities with materials for self-directed online learning and are designed to strengthen knowledge and practical skills related to inclusive healthcare and access to health and social rights for Roma persons with physical disabilities.
The English drafts are now moving through the review and finalisation process, before being translated into the languages of the participating countries and tested through the upcoming pilot trainings.

This work builds on the evidence collected through WP2, including the contributions of 60 professionals who participated in focus groups and 180 respondents who completed questionnaires across the six participating countries.
The next phase will focus on finalising the training materials and preparing the pilot activities.
