Within the RomInDis Erasmus + project, RRC team on 18.02.2025, has realized the Focus Group with Health Professionals (HP) in a hybrid format, for the Validation of the Outlines of the 2 Capacity Building Programmes and the collection of necessary data, knowledge, gaps, and best practices, so that they can be incorporated into these programmes. The Health Professionals have a constructive discussion and dialogue on improving healthcare access for Roma People with Physical Disabilities (PWPD).
Discussion highlights:
Cultural competence and inclusive communication
Institutional and administrative barriers
Role clarity and cooperation with RHMs
Need for structured professional training
The session confirmed that inclusive healthcare requires not only professional awareness, but also systemic solutions and formalized cooperation mechanisms.
