2nd Transnational Project Meeting – Wuppertal
RoW-POWER Enhancing support for Roma women victims of Gender Based Violence!
РРЦ – Ромски Ресурсен Центар | RRC – Roma Resource Center as a partner in the project took activе participation in this activity whit in the project.
The 2nd Transnational Project Meeting within the RoW-Power project took place on 30-31 of October 2024 in Wuppertal/Germany, hosted by the coordinator IRMI Institute for Roma and Minorities Inclusion.
 The consortium worked on the upcoming project result ” Capacity building of Roma Mediators and professionals who provide assistance/services to GBV victims/survivors”.
 Two sets of Modules will be developed:
 for Roma Mediators
Module 1: Understanding GBV and Women’s Rights and Early Marriage and its Impact on Roma Women
Module 2: Guiding Roma Women to Support Services
Module 3: Mediation Techniques and Overcoming Barriers & cooperating with GBV professionals
Module 4: Building Trust and Advocacy
Module 5: Conflict Resolution and Community Dialogue
Module 6: Empowerment and Leadership Skills for Roma Women

Module 1: Socio-Cultural Context of Roma Communities
Module 2: GBV in Roma Communities
Module 3: Effective Communication with Roma Women
Module 4: Supporting Roma Women: Counselling and Services and Collaboration with Roma Mediators
Module 5: Trauma-Informed Care for Roma Survivors of GBV
Module 6: Addressing Discrimination and Stigma in Service Delivery
RoW-POWER is an innovative action designed to support Roma women at risk of gender-based violence (GBV) in overcoming the cultural, linguistic, and social barriers they face in reaching out to and accessing relevant support services.
