On 12.08.2024 RRC – Roma Resource Center held a networking workshop with Roma Mediators and Professionals in the field of Gender Based Violence.
The purpose of this meeting was to promote cooperation between people who work to support people who are victims of gender-based violence and health and educational Mediators on the other hand who are directly or indirectly in contact with victims or potential victims of gender-based violence.
On the other hand, we also expect that this meeting will contribute to strengthening the networking among the various stakeholders in the direction of improving the support and services for the victims of gender violence.
This meeting is very important for the following activities intended for the Roma Mediators, such as specialized trainings to strengthen the capacities and structures for the promotion of Gender Based Violence services for Roma women.
